Prereq of “Chemical Reaction Engineering-1” undergraduate-course recommended.The objective of this course is to provide a foundation for mathematical modeling the chemical and biochemical systems in terms of linear and nonlinear, ordinary and partial, differential equations. The main topics include: state space analysis; stability of dynamic models, conservation of mass, pollution in rivers; reaction-diffusion model for morphogenesis; cycles and bifurcation; cusp catastrophes, and chaos.
