Term Semester:1 Credit:2-0-0 Desicription:Various kinds of problems concerned with chemical reaction and transport phenomena in chemical equipment are discussed. Advanced information on the relation between the reaction and the transport phenomena in complex fluid flow field is presented. |

Term Semester:1 Credit:2-0-0 Desicription:This course is intended for Chemical Engineering majors. Prereq of “Chemical Reaction Engineering-1” undergraduate-course recommended.The objective of this course is to provide a foundation for mathematical modeling the chemical and biochemical systems in terms of linear and nonlinear, ordinary and partial, differential equations. The main topics include: state space analysis; stability of dynamic models, conservation of mass, pollution in rivers; reaction-diffusion model for morphogenesis; cycles and bifurcation; cusp catastrophes, and chaos. |

The talks include intelligent system technology for nonlinear complicated systems. |

In this class, methodology to analyze the information flow between sub-tasks which constitute the project is considered, and the project management supporting environment is discussed. |
