Research interests of the laboratory (with Assoc. Prof. Dr. M.Kubouchi) are the materials behavior under several environments. It will be possible to establish the reliability and the method of life-estimation of materials. And the results will be useful in the process of designing and maintenance of chemical equipments. Research fields are as follows;
Corrosion under liquid environments
- Recycling of thermosetts and FRP
- Behavior of polymer alloys
- Development of smart materials
Cracking behavior of epoxy composites
- Hybrid system of particulate-filled composites
- Ultra-high filler contents systems
- Development of high thermal resistant systems
Erosion behavior of composites
- Sand erosion
- Slurry erosion
