We are considering the resources-circulating process of material, energy and life systems as an intensified chemical process in the 21st century. We are convinced of the importance of the self-progressive knowledge-base technology to analyze, design, control and/or operate resources-circulating processes. And we regard the information processing functions of human itself as a model of our self-progressive knowledge-base technology, because as follows; "Human is an open system which has well-balance of assemble processes and disassemble processes and has equilibrium of internal circulation and input/output. His and her various information processing functions have been evolved by information transformation process which has been selected and optimized over the times as an intelligent creature." From this conception, we call the self-progressive knowledge-base technology for the resources-circulating process "Human-oriented Intelligent System Technology(HIST)." We are researching on the applications of HIST to various of chemical processes.
